Cookie and browser preferences policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026. The public yuvilya.com introduction/blog site and administrator login at panel.yuvilya.com have different storage needs. This notice explains cookies, similar browser storage and the choices available to you.
What are cookies and local storage?
A cookie is a small browser record for a site that may be sent with relevant server requests. Storage such as localStorage stays in your browser and can be read by same-site code; it is not automatically sent on every request like a cookie. Both can serve different purposes and should be explained.
This policy concerns Yuvilya's web service. The mobile app's local health database and microphone files are not website cookies; see the Privacy notice for those flows.
No advertising or analytics on the public site
The site's application code contains no advertising cookie, behavioural tracking pixel or visitor analytics script. Introduction and blog content remains readable without accepting preferences. Health records are not stored in a website cookie.
When you explicitly save preferences, the localStorage record named yuvilya.website.preferences holds the selection, language code and record-format version. It has no automatic expiry and may remain until you or your browser clear site data. Without choosing to remember language, switching page languages alone does not write a new preference record.
It does not write a preference to local storage on your first visit before you choose to save it. This record is not an advertising profile or consent to health sync. Change it through the preference control or remove it entirely through browser site-data settings.
A necessary administrator session in the panel
After panel login, a first-party session cookie maintains the secure administrator session. A session is valid for at most 12 hours; logout or expiry closes access. It does not contain health records or a plaintext password.
The cookie provides the requested administration service and helps prevent unauthorised access; it is not used for advertising. Blocking cookies can prevent panel login. A public blog reader does not need an administrator session.
Infrastructure security and external links
Hosting and infrastructure such as Cloudflare DNS/CDN may process connection information to deliver requests and provide security. A configured infrastructure security feature may use its own technical cookie; this does not mean our site code adds advertising or analytics. Provider policies describe their processing and retention.
Following links to Google Play, Google or source websites takes you to those services, whose cookies follow their own rules. We do not embed those source services as tracking widgets to let you read the blog.
Changing and clearing preferences
Change your selection through the site's preference control or clear yuvilya.com site data in your browser. Clearing browser data removes web preferences; it does not delete mobile health records or a server account.
Any future optional analytics or advertising tool should not be enabled before its purpose, provider, duration and choice are updated. You are not asked to accept tools that are not present. Contact [email protected] with questions.
